All you need to know about the vocational training abroad!

A vocational training course is the guarantee that you will be trained quickly and leave school with a job in hand!

Less expensive and shorter than a university course, vocational training has many advantages. No matter what profession you wish to practice, you will find a course of study that is adapted to your professional objective!

A few examples of jobs you can learn: accountant, communication manager, beautician, plumber, veterinary assistant, hairdresser, bricklayer, pastry chef, stylist, computer specialist, barista, florist… and many others!

What degrees?

Accessible as soon as the high school diploma is obtained and sometimes even without a high school diploma, vocational training centers are full of opportunities and offer many diplomas, most of which can be obtained in 6 months to two years:

• A Certificate III & Certificate IV (1 year or less)
• A Diploma (1 year)
• An Advanced Diploma (2 years)
• A Graduate Diploma (3 to 4 years)

It is also possible to start a professional training before entering university in the second year of a Bachelor’s degree. This is a good option if you feel the need to start in a small class before jumping into the deep waters of university!

Of course, there will be differences depending on the country and the school of your choice, but the scheme remains relatively similar from one training center to another. Steps to follow beforehand

If you wish to enter a professional training program, you will have to prove that you have a sufficient level of language proficiency to follow the courses offered.

Indeed, most of these institutions require their international students to have a language certificate such as (for institutions teaching courses in English) the IELTS, TOEIC, or TOEFL for instance.
