Pursuing higher education abroad is a transformative experience, offering academic growth, cultural immersion, and career opportunities. Why Choose a University Abroad?

The Anglo-Saxon University System

Studying in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, or the United States means experiencing the Anglo-Saxon university system, which is accessible after high school (baccalauréat).
Key features of this system include:
✔ Application-Based Admission – Universities assess applicants based on academic records and personal statements.
✔ Flexible Enrollment Dates – Many universities offer 2 to 3 intakes per year.
✔ Course Load & Study Approach – Students typically take 10-15 hours of classes per week, covering 3-4 subjects per semester, with 20-25 hours of independent study.

Degree Levels in the Anglo-Saxon System
Undergraduate Studies:
Bachelor of Science / Bachelor of Arts (Equivalent to Licence / Bac+3)
Bachelor of Honour (Equivalent to Master 1 / Bac+4)
Postgraduate Studies:
Master of Science / Master of Arts / MBA / LLMs (Equivalent to Master 2 / Bac+5)
Doctorate (PhD):
For students with a Master’s degree (Bac+5) who wish to continue their research (Equivalent to Bac+7 or Bac+8).

The European University System

In Europe, universities follow the LMD system (Licence-Master-Doctorat), introduced in 2002, making degree equivalences easier across European Union countries.

This system includes:
Licence (Bachelor’s Degree):
Accessible after high school, awarded after three years of study (180 ECTS credits).
Master’s Degree:
Requires a Licence, awarded after one to two additional years (60 ECTS per year).
Doctorate (PhD):🎓 Requires a Master’s Degree, completed after three years of research (180 ECTS credits).
